He would have waited upon Mrs. Garrick with Mrs. Jordan had not His Royal Highness been engaged on business with Sir William Gibbons. Reassures her that the cottage being constructed at Bushy House is to be moved forty feet nearer the Hampton Road and to stand East and West and not North and South. It will be concealed from the windows in Mrs. Garrick's house [Hampton] as it is opposite the large high trees to the right in the corner of the garden.

Dorothy (Dora) Phillips Bland was born in London on November 22, 1761, into an acting family. She made her acting debut in Dublin, Ireland in November 1779, and her London acting debut at Drury Lane in October 1785.
